Caroling

We had such an amazing experience on Christmas Eve. One of our Zones, along with the five Young Single Adults who live in the stake, went caroling at a hospital. Our mission has been caroling at the same hospital for the past 25 years. One of our missionaries dressed up as Santa and we got a toy for each of the children in the pediatric unit.  We sang and gave a gift to each child along with a pass along card to their parents. It was the highlight of the Christmas season for our missionaries. Many had tears in their eyes as they sang beautiful Christmas hymns. Even though we were far from home on Christmas, in a hospital full of very sick children we all felt the Spirit and for one brief moment all was right with the world. It was a Christmas Eve we will never forget.

  1. So sweet. I LOVED Christmas in the mission field. We would take the video of Luke 2 around and everyone would let us in because they wanted a message about Christ.
