Today was Pday! Many people have told us of the beautiful Salto del Itata Falls so we took a little drive  to see them for ourselves. The city is a little claustrophobic to me so I love to get out in the country. We drove through a forest. Many of the forests here are man made.
| They plant the trees in tidy little rows |
| We passed the lumber yard where they process all those trees |
| We were on this dirt road for several miles |
| We passed this campground and wondered if Brett would like to bring his scouts for an overnighter |
| Good thing we got some great directions from our friends. These were the signs marking the way... |
| And if you didn't look close they would be very easy to miss |
| Our car was a little dirty when we finally arrived |
| But it was so worth it! The falls are huge - 260 feet! |
| Always the ham :) |
Here's a little video so you can appreciate the power and majesty of the falls -

We had such a fun morning exploring this beautiful country that we live in. Be sure to add the falls to the list of things you would like to see when you come visit!

I was waiting to see Kent in the video pretending to go over in a barrel!
