In the Chile Concepcion Mission our missionaries walk several miles every day. Elder J had a painful growth on the bottom of his foot and need to get it removed. Our overworked mission nurse called the clinic to get him an appointment. She couldn't hear them very well but kept explaining that he needed to have it removed. They told her they could do it that very evening and for a really great price. Wahoo! We love to get a deal. Something must have got lost in the translation because when Elder J got to his appointment they gave him a pedicure!! He tried to explain what he really needed but they assured him a pedicure was what the nurse ordered. Now the rest of us are calling the nurse to complain about a painful growth on the bottom of our foot.........
That's my kind of clinic!
